Ozone or O3 is a nontoxic and colorless oxygen gas. At normal temperature it decomposes completely back into oxygen, making it a non-lingering and safe sterilizer. Ozone has extremely strong oxidizing characteristics which make it ideal for removing many viruses, mold, bacteria, dust mites and other organic matter from your living environment. Ozone rapidly oxidizes and denatures bacterial protein (and any other micro-organic matter) to effectively kill various bacterial and fungal propagula. This makes Ozone an excellent germicidal agent. Ozone effectively destroys over 90% of bacteria in very little time. Since Ozone is a diffuse gas, it rapidly disseminates in the air and can sterilize an entire room or floor.
