Porky's® manufactures dozens of quality leash designs but none surpasses this leash in terms of quality, versatility and ergonomics. So why an integrated flashlight? The reason is simple, SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY. The 
bright bulb-style flashlight on this leash increases the visibility of the pet owner to on-coming traffic as well as potential predators. I am a retired woman in her mid-60's and I feel much safer knowing that my personal space is illuminated when I am walking my dogs at night. The bright light also alert passing motorists to my presence so that they can take caution not to hit me or my pets. The ingenious integration of the flashlight to the front of this leash ensures that I always have a well lit path to avoid stumbling in the dark. The handle of the leash houses a convenient on/off switch mounted just below the tether's thumb brake to turn the flashlight on or off. The flashlight runs on 2 ordinary "AA" batteries.

For that reason, the engineers at Porky's Pet Products® designed the World's first true clutch system that provides the pet owner with a 6:1 gear ratio for quick retraction of the pet leash. This feature alone will allay the fears that arise when you see your pets favorite play buddy prancing down the jogging path. Simply disengage the push-brake button on the top of the handle and the lanyard swiftly retracts to your desired length so that you can maintain your pet within a controllable distance. A light snap of the thumb disengages the brake and retracts the leash without hesitation. This leash attaches to any pet's collar via a quality universal steel snap attached to the end of the lanyard.
Tether is Made From Indestructible FLAT Nylon Webbing - Not Ordinary Round Cord:
The retractable tether that is housed in this leash is made from durable FLAT nylon webbing. The implementation of a webbed material as opposed to standard round cord acts to prevent friction burns in the event that your pet becomes entangled in the lanyard. Nylon webbing also lasts ten times longer than the traditional round nylon tether material found in competing retractable leashes. Even the largest pooches lack the strength to snap this webbing or chew through it.
Ergonomic Design Ensures a Pleasurable Experience and Increased Control:
