I've had this unit for several weeks now, and I'm extremely happy with it. For the first few days I was so excited about seeing if it really works that I devised numerous casual experiments to test it. One was to divide fruits and vegetables into "ozone" groups and "control" groups (no ozone). The ozone hasn't failed yet - the untreated lemons got that gray-green mold that smells like penicillin, but not a hint of it on the ozonated lemons. The no ozone zucchini got soft and slimy (good-bye!), but the zucchini I ozonated look fresh as the day they came into the house. Same with the cucumbers.
In a separate container I ozonate water to use in my Water Pik. Excellent results. I pour the excess water down one of the house drains, so that over the week each drain gets sanitized at least once. Rubbermaid or Tupperware containers with onion or garlic odor were completely clean-smelling after 10 minutes' ozone. Ozonated kitchen sponges and dish cloths stay fresh and safe.
I think over time I'll find many more uses for this great, well-made device. I'm delighted to have found it. Thank you, Imperial Products!
